“What We Believe”

We believe the Bible is the inspired, trustworthy Word of God. 2 Timothy 3:16,17

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only possible way to get to heaven. Acts 4:12

We believe that Jesus was born miraculously to a virgin ( Matthew 1:22,23); lived a sinless life ( 2 Corinthians 5:21); died in our place on a cross ( 1 Peter 3:18); rose bodily from the grave ( Romans 4:25); and is now in heaven ( Luke 24:50-52); all to make our eternal salvation in heaven possible.

We believe that every man or woman who would go to heaven must personally respond to Christ Jesus by faith in HIM. ( Matthew 10:32)

We believe that faith includes complete trust in Christ Jesus to save ( Hebrews 11:6); repentance of sin ( Luke 13:3-5); public confession of Christ Jesus as Lord ( Romans 10:9,10); baptism by immersion in water ( Galatians 3:26,27); and faithfulness to Christ Jesus until death ( Revelations 2:10).

We believe in the unlimited power of prayer, a work of the Holy Spirit, who lives in every true Christian ( John 15:5-8).

We believe that the Lord’s Supper should be taken on the First day of the week together with other believers ( Acts 20:7)
